I wish there were more forum posts and YouTube videos (in English) about the DeepTech detectors. I am especially interested in the Vista Smart Plus.

Have any of you owned this detector and the Tesoro Tejone? Would love to hear your thoughts when comparing the 2. I'm used to having a screen with VDI numbers (Whites user) but am now ready to hear just the beeps and find deeper targets!

Davidtn I've never used the Tejon but I did have the vaquero I now have the Smart plus I really like it for relic hunting it's very fast great in iron has two tones easy to ground balance and you couldn't ask for a better dealer than Richard to buy from. There are others on this forum who have had theirs longer who can answer your questions better than me I'm sure Richard will help you.

Thanks for your reply Irvin. I'm very interested in the Smart Plus so now Richard you need to get one in stock. Ha ha. I wish there was more info out there on it but from what I can tell it looks to be a pretty strong detector. I'm over looking at a screen for VDI/depth/etc...just give me different beep tones and depth and I'll dig away!

Deepteck has a forum on findmall.com lots of info on all of their units and videos. They are deep detectors mine has not failed me yet to perform like they say they will.

Now I'm replying to my own post. I do see that they have their own group but it's not very active.

That's because there is a small number of members here that own a DT. More now that Backwoods is a US dealer.
Like any forum, many lurkers, few posters.
Nasa Tom's forum was a live with DT posts for quite a few number of months when it was the the flavor of the year.
Now mostly Makro and Notka are the main flavor.
You will not be disappointed with a DT product.
