There is a lot people at my favorites spots to hunt , I think I will wait til everyone is gone before I H20 hunt the spots, anyone ever do this to? Patience I have!

Are they other detectorists or just swimmers? I would probably steer clear of anyone else as if possible as in I would not go out detecting at the lake on a weekend when there are a lot of people out. I would prefer to go during a weekday where the chances are high that I might have it all to myself. I do the same thing hunting parks too though. If kids are on the play ground equipment then I steer clear of them and people in general until they have left or try again another time. Just my personal preferences though Hank.

Mostly swimmers , I like to hit them fresh with no one else around, distractions is what I try to avoid, I agree with you Habanero, HH tigerhank68

I was diving and ALONE at a beach when it started filling up. My coil touched a little girl. The parents called the police on me. I NEVER EVER want to be in that kind of situation again. The sheriff talked to her and also to me. Nothing became of it , she said my coil touched her and now I stay COMPLETLY away from beaches with swimmers when they start showing up. I have 6 daughters and have NEVER been in jail and I NEVER want to be acused of touching anyone while I am diving. This was over 6 years ago now. That could get UGLY.

I do the same thing, I don't like it when I'm trying to hunt and kids get in the way asking all kinds of questions especially, "can I dig"........

When the public starts to show I avoid them like the plague,

That's excellent advice - not only for someone diving, but just generally hunting in the water. These days, it doesn't take much to end up having to register as a sex offender - no sense destroying your life over a little extra detecting time. Swimmers show up - time to leave.
