And I am stoked, the atpro has opened some new areas for me to hunt and later this summer I will pull my camper trailer to the lake spot and seriously get into it , but I need a durable sifter handle type which do you prefer? Thanks, Hank

There's lot of scoops out there and I'm sure you'll get lots of advise. So here's mine. Go for a stainless steel one with at least a 48" handle on it. It will cost a bit more up front, but it will last you a good long time. Also don't get and bigger scoop that you think you can pick up when it's full. The monster scoops can wear you out in the deeper water. Make yourself a floating sifter too. Some small PVC or dowel rods, some 1/2" hardware cloth, a few nylon wire ties and a kids floatie (Noodle) is all it takes. Here's my lake hunting outfit. Yes, I do wear a PFD too. All that gear can drag you right under.

Thanks BigCat, I like your set up and the floaters on the handle is a great idea , HH, Hank

I sure will Bart, HH, Hank

l have a nice two piece scoop that was made by one of the forum members on another forum. It unscrews down by the scoop to make a short handled sand scoop for hunting beaches or the sand just along the waterline. I think it's made of heavy grade aluminum? It's really light and doesn't tarnish. Monty
