Hello all and Merry Christmas. I have a Fisher 1236x2. It's about 5 years old. Not long ago the coil wire started peeling apart all the way from coil to control box. I have it taped. This is not the main problem but I would like to know if there are others out there with same. The problem at hand. With the coil wire connected to control box and coil to lower pole I can touch detector rod and it sounds off touch touch touch beep beep beep. I have a 10.5" coil and a 12" Hot Head Coil It does the same with them all. Any Ideas for something I could look for before sending it to First Texas. Thanks for your time, Cliff

It definetly sounds like something internal to me If it's doing that with that many coils!! Keep us informed on what they say was the problem.
