The water was cool and the day was hot. I was going along finding coins, sinkers, pulltabs, toys, and the usual with no jewelery to be found. Then I hit a loud gold signal that got my attention. I scooped it up in about 4 feet of water and almost fell over.

Nancy's jeweler friend came over to give it a looking over and was stunned. The main stone is 1.5-2k and the 26 smaller stones total about the same. The smaller stones are diamonds but the big one might not be, it has been replaced at some time but she was not sure and said it could be a diamond, her tester was at home. The darn thing weighs almost an ounce! That is a lot of gold. Now the good part, if the large stone is not a diamond like she thinks, it is worth about 200 donkeys, or in dollars 2000. It fits Nancy real well and I am thinking about replacing the stone for her if it is not real. What a day in the water!!!! If the large stone turns out to be real she said it would be worth about 20000. That sure beats pull tabs. DC
