I went looking for Platinum after work but wound up with Gold and Silver instead.

A big squall moved through last night and the wind swung around to the NE so I decided conditions would be good for another stab at finding the lost platinum band. I got in the water at 1740 and it was a little bricky to say the least. The surge wasn't too bad but you had to keep your head up for the rogue waves that pounded through every couple of minutes. I got knocked down twice just the same.:stars:

I worked the area that the doghoused husband described to me over the phone but a lot of sand has shifted since the storm blew through last night.
The first ticket was a .925 surfer style ring and I had a bit of luck with the quarters but it was really difficult to get out to the deeper levels. The rip tide kept trying to suck me out over my head.:nono:
Just a few yards in front of the gal in this pic, I found the 14k with chips.

A group of locals were practicing tai chi on the beach.

Cheers,

That gold ring looks like it has some weight to it :) I was wondering if you found his ring yet BDA. Maybe the squally weather pushed the ring up onto the beach..

The sand got shifted pretty good with last night's storm. I didn't think to check the shallows, just out of habit I always head for the deep water. I'll have to check out the shallows tomorrow.

Thanks Craig,

Brilliant, man! That calls for a bit of Black Seal.

If that beach will turn up tasties like that, I believe I would keep hitting her aplenty, arrrrgh!
