I went detecting for a little over an hour today. Mostly Memorial pennies, a few dimes and a quarter all clad except

for one very abused 1935 Mercury dime!! It looks like the dime was hit by a lawnmower or something because it has some slice damage.I found the Merc early in the hunt and I thought I was going to do really well! Unfortunately, it was the only older coin I found! There was a lot of interference and I was getting some false signals, too. The Merc read 75 on my XLT...I thought it was a Wheatie!
