I spent about 4 hours yesterday hunting some baseball diamonds. It was a good work out. I did manage some loot, a token, a religious medallion and a $100 Mexican coin. The estimated book values puts it at about twenty five cents.

Good god, John. Leave some for the rest of us!

But seriously, nice finds... :)

yep that's some good loot john congrats

Found a few good rings in those diamonds myself.
Good digs !

I tried to hunt a baseball diamond once. Got hit in the head with a line-drive. Guess I should have waited for the game to be over first...

Are you guys actually hunting within the grassy area of the diamond itself? Or do you just mean in the vicinity of the field, i.e. outfield, stands, behind the fence by the dugouts, behind the plate, etc?

I have found more gold rings in a baseball fields than anywhere. I don't beach hunt though. It may be close on gold ring count to elementary schools .
People take off them baseball gloves and pull their rings off with it. Short stop area has turned up many. If you are trying to grid this and cover it all??? DOH!!! yur gona be there awhile. One thing I like about them,,,there isn't allot of trash,,normally,, on a baseball diamond.
