Haven't been getting enough sleep lately but ya know I am using that 'non-sleeping' time detecting. Here is some blessings God has passed my way. A few 'first's items too! Thank you Father God. Thank you Lord Jesus!

$3.35 in U.S. coins
1 Canadian Quarter and 1 Canadian Penny.

Got a new first item. It is an Australian coin "2003". Notice it isn't round?

Guessing it was dedicated to 'Australian Volunteers' since it says that on the back of the coin. Says "50" not sure if that is 50 cents Australian or 50th Anniversary f honoring volunteers. Anyone familiar with Aussie coins? Enlarged it so you can see the detail better. (Its about the size of an American half dollar in fact it came up as a half dollar on my readout.

Once again God taught me to look where I was seriously thinking about not detecting near. On the school playground is a twisted arch of a thing - reminds me of the fins on the back of a dinosaur, lizard or fish. I went to one of these and found nothing earlier. So when I came across another one I was going to skip it. Guess God is better at getting me where He wants me. Anyway, I detected under this thing and only got one 'hit'.
This is nothing special but sure look pretty - and I would have missed it.
It has 3 diamond type stones but the flaky workmanship on the band itself tells me it isn't valuable.

Found these. Not sure it they are from a bracelet or necklace.

Picked up a couple of tokens. One was another one of those Chuckie Cheese tokens (year 2000) and this one - another first - a Car Wash Token. Not sure where it is for - I sure could use a good car wash

<p align=center><img src="http://coinshooter.owly.net/070505/CarwashToken2.jpg"></p></center>

Found a few other 'not worthy to mention' items. Sure got hot in the sun and had to quit just before noon. Hope everyone is getting their detectors out and taking them for walks. And don't forget to check where you least expect to find something - you just might be surprised.

Nice finds, Pete!! I hope to get out soon myself, hopefully this week. Right after a carpet cleaning job, painting a bedroom, moving a bedroom suite, moving a grill and a couple of other items for my parents. Of course, now they are calling for rain on my days off!!! Oh, well, hopefully next week.

Keep digging and posting your finds, I need the encouragement!

battery money and a neat coin. I think thats an Aus. 50 pence. I found a 5 pence the other day in a playground, don't know if it was a drop or a show and tell. I try and do a pattern search when I'm in a new playground. Get out near the edges also, adults sometimes sit there watching the kids and loose stuff.

HH'n,
