I use a Garrett Sea Hunter II with the stock 8

The 10 x 14 coil cavers alot of ground ,go's deeper the " H$%# "and cuts down on your MD time,makes your arm sore faster, your have too go slower in the water,and makes you wished you had your 8 " coil back on..

Thanks for the info, think I will sticking with the 8" for a while longer then....
