while relaxing on the deck and saw a deer. Then I saw the cat with her. I am talking to Mary and trying to keep the camera on what I was hoping would be some action but I think the cat noticed the deer was bigger. She is learning :D

Coyotes around here take out a lot of cats... We see the deer and turkeys together here a lot and on occasion in with the horses.

thought it might have been grabbing any bugs the deer stirred up in the ferns. It was cute, followed like a fawn
 
91degrees in May? Lordy, that some-how doesn't seem right!! We're in the 70s during the day and down into the 50s and 60s at night this time of year here on the Ct. Shore! Inland it gets into the 80s, but the cold ocean temperatures help cool things a bit here.

After living here over 40 years I don't think I could survive those kinds of temps for long!
