Met JimB from these boards today and I have to say he is very knowledgeable person about the history of the area. I learned some history from him that was rather intriguing none the less...I look forward to hunting with him again. I let Jim pick the place that we hunt today...Umm Jim...maybe I should just pick the place next time...just kidding...I had a good time. I tried to use my Excal today on land and was really having a hard time pinpointing with it for some reason so I switched to my Whites XLT...well just move your cursor over the pictures and it should tell you the story of the pictures...I look forward to doing some water hunting with Jim in the future...sounds like he might know where some "ice" can be located...
 
I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid back in the 60's. Nice Find!:super:

You had fun and were able to share the hunt with a new friend. What could be better?? That's what our hobby is all about, the total experience.
