I was scoping out new territory and have some pictures for Ian.

I know how Ian likes scenery pictures. I took the family to a Civil War reenactment at an old covered bridge.

I wonder how many of these where on the front line?

We drove by the swimming hole, but nobody was in today.

These places are really hard to MD. The rocks are usually covered with kids.

Great pics John,
That's a swimming hole and a half.

Aah re-enactors, yeah they're a very in thing over here at the moment too.
In the past we've been to English jousting tournaments and melees, and believe me it's very dangerous even with chain mail and armour suits there are many injuries.
On horseback with lances approaching each other at 30mph is a 60mph impact can have dire consequences.
Of course it's hand to hand combat with swords, axes, maces, and ball and chains and sometimes tempers can get frayed,
never mind body parts.

There is a field near me where they practice reenactments. I hunt there often and I'm still hoping to find something that drops of one of their costumes. Nice photos.

Chris
