I was playing around with my F-70 in the bed room.

I am always second guessing myself and wanted to be sure I am not missing anything. So I did some air testing to refresh myself on the ID's of certain targets before I go MD'ing tomorrow. I notice little quirks that I hadn't noticed before. A Barber dime hits on 76 while a mercury hits at 70+. My minnies and musket balls all seem to hit around 56-58. Size didn't seem to make any difference. They were of 58 and 72 cal. I had a roll of quarters and wanted to see their ID and it was 88-90 on end. Side ways it ID'ed at a jumpy 22-40. Mainly 22. A roll of pennies ID'ed higher than normal, but side ways ID'ed 22. I have found coins side ways in the ground that ID'ed OK, so what is with this quirk?

...with a soil matrix to contend with.

And in your bedroom, John????
