Still here George. Ron and I have been Field hunting on the weekends. Haven't hit the beaches so I can't give you a report.
How is the lake hunting going?

I HAVE PULLED SOME NICE GOLD OUT OF THEM!! HOPE WE GET SOME GOOD STORMS THIS WINTER! YOU GET ANY GOOD FINDS IN THE FIELDS? ANY REALE'S OR PINE TREE'S? HH KEEP IN TOUCH, SEE YOU AT THE BEACH THIS WINTER!!!

No Reales or Pine Trees yet... I seem to find mostly buttons in the fields which is just fine by me George. I did get some firsts this year... first Large Cent... Barber Quarter, but most weekends we got skunked. It is hard to get permission these days but it is still fun to get out and do some detecting when I can.

I might be out of commision for a little while because I found out I got Lymes Disease somewhere along the way. I have to get a spinal tap in about a week and if it has reached my centeral nervous system (which the doctor thinks it has) then I will have to get daily IV's of antibiotics for about 30 days to get it out of my system. Should be a lesson to everyone to take precautions while out in the woods... use repelant, tuck your pants into your socks, etc.

I'm really looking forward to Beach Hunting this winter and running into you and Metaldig at some point. I need to add to my jewlery collection... that one gold ring I found last year is getting awful lonely.

HH

James
