I was hot last night!

It was in the upper 80's.
DiggerRick from Pa. got off the interstate to do a little MDing with me Sunday afternoon. He showed me a nice IH he dug Saturday. We had a good time but the wheat's were coming out of the ground pretty nasty. It took me all night to clean off most of the crud. We MDed till dark and talked a while longer.
This is my total. I eyed two nice marbles, got another ring to a harness, a heavy metal bullet looking thing and a door knocker? Upper right is two copper disks. They were in the same hole and have a smooth finish.
I love my Datil peppers. They are heirloom peppers from St Augustine. I was told you can't buy the seeds.

I got another good luck charm with a 1950 cent inside. Found another 1917 cent, second one in two weeks. A 1919 cent and a 1941 nickel.

Why the numbers?

Nice finds. I am not sure about those numbers on that token. As far as the hot peppers, I don't eat them anymore. I used to eat a lot of them in my younger days:hot:

I don't know for sure what kind of tector you use but finding those peppers with it.........Now That's Hot:hot:

These Datil peppers are as hot as a habanero, but are sweeter and fruitier tasting. The Spanish brought them to St. Augustine over 300 years ago. The seeds don't germinate well enough that the government will allow them to be sold. With in a day or two I will be making hot pepper jelly. I have already made one batch. I have them in vinegar also.

We had a festival this weekend and I thought about you.

The army survival manual says to eat hot peppers to rid yourself of parasites. OR eat 1 1/2 cigarettes and the nicotine will kill them. OR take 2 table spoons of kerosene. Don't smoke the cigarettes while you are taking the kerosene.

I'LL EAT THE PEPPERS.. They are good for you.

mmmmmmm.......jalapeno pepper jelly on crackers...............

Around here they call it Mexican aspirin.........pronounced #%&burn........

Better than eating those slimy, gushy, grubs or maggots. Ever watch the Aborigines eat live scorpions? Man that's a crunchy snack. :)

Yes, it was hot out there, I will attest to that. Had a great time, will have to definitely do it again. Have not had a chance to clean up the wheat I found but hope to soon. Good luck hunting those sites.
