I was detecting near a pier a few weeks ago...came across a nice 1905 Barber quarter....and then this thing shows up in my scoop...:yikes:

I near jumped out of my boots.....but I brought him home with "Mr. Barber " ,cleaned him up and he now serves as a "conversation piece"

Take note of his detector ( coil missing) and scoop

I'm pretty sure its a bugbear, but it's a D&D miniature without a doubt. I had similar minis when I was 14 years old or so. I know because I played alot back then (1977-1980 or so) They didnt come with the game, what you did was buy them and paint them to help in battles in the game. Painting them was a lot of fun as I recall. When I got older I clearly remember shooting them with my .22 that was fun too.

Jeez, what a waste of money! Ohwell I was young. I think I have some still tucked away somewhere in my parent's attic, I'll have to look for them because I think I had one just like that, if I didnt shoot it lol

Oh BTW, nice silvers too!
