Well I found an ID for my chinese coin, it's at least 290 years old, up to 350 years old. I know the Chinese circulated their coins for a very long time, but that's crazy. I am figuring it was lost roughly 110 years ago, so it must have been old when it was dropped. The pics with the white background are my coin, and the black background is the one I came across online for comparison.

C269A (KM-313) Sheng Tsu (1661-1722)
Period: Kang Hsi (1661-1722)
Mint: Peking, Board of Public Works
O KANG HSI TUNG PAO
Coinage of Steady Prosperity
R BOO [in Manchu left] YUWAN [Board of Public Works] [in Manchu right]

Nice one !

I think that the one I found is from the 1820's ... wish I could find more of those !

The Chinese were very frugal. They could have been handed down through generations as a lucky piece. Hope it gives you more good luck.
