I wanted to share the gorgeous 14K Gold Marquise Diamond Ring I found....

a few weeks ago while fieldtesting the Coiltek Joey coil.

I spent 25% of the time on the E-Trac and 75% of the time on my SE.

I didn't post it on this forum because I found it with the E-Trac...but I still wanted to share it with everyone...so here is the link to check it out.

Thats a good looking ring bro!!!! My lady would love for me to find a few of those :) Unfortunately I dont have the patience for that! I have been thinking about picking up a Coiltek Platypus. Heard some good things about that little guy!
Hope you get some more hunting time in soon!!!

I truly believe the joey coil will hit better on the smaller gold that the stock coil, but that is just my thinking.

Wow what a ring. I love finding gold.
Hey, enter a story to the link below and you might win a voucher.

[size=large]could you translate the E-TRAC readings you had to the Explorer? what would be the readings on the EX SE Pro about? your best guess?

Beautiful ring! Im still waiting for mine and I think the SE will show me the way. I did find a class ring years ago and returned it to the owner which he was a senior at the time, his girlfriend lost it a few years prior. I was a great feeling though to see that gold shining in the dirt. Great find!

When I'm gold hunting I always dig those 10, 11, 12, 13-02+ targets, especially if they are small.

My Explorers seem to be working just fine for me.:)

If and when someone using one of the new machines calls me over to investigate what turns out to be a keeper coin...and I can't hear it with my SE...I might consider it.

It didn't happen with the E-Trac though in the last 3 years..so I think my Exporers will suit me fine for now.
