I WANTED TO KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE HERE DETECT NORTH SHORE OF MASS+NH.?WHAT DETECTORS DO YOU USE?ALL YOU LURKERS OUT THERE SPEAK UP!DONT BE SHY!!

I hunt Hampton, Rye and Salisbury during the week
until tourist season. I live near there. Use a Classic III or MXT.
Otherwise, just old sites in so.NH.

In Gloucester, I hunt Good Harbor Beach and Wingaersheek Beach. Both beaches are free parking from 4pm and on.
I also hunt Salisbury Beach, Revere Beach and Cranes Beach now and again.
I use a DFX with either a Big Foot or Hot Shot coil. I just accquired a GoldQuest with an 11" coil and will be trying that this summer.
Pete

I'm a bit further up the coast, but I hunt regularly the coast of Southern Maine. I'm from the Old Orchard Beach area, but hunt the surrounding areas as well. I use MXT with the stock 950 coil, but when the tourists get here and start dropping the loot, I usually switch to the small DD shooter, or the larger DD.

Winter/spring storms only for old silver/gold. Will typically hunt Revere to York depending upon the storm. Use an Explorer. Summer detecting is too much like scavenging or hunting the woodchips at a playground. There's too many Pine Tree Shillings still out there to waste my time with that!

no good finds yet. Only get to hunt when I'm visiting my daughter in Beverly.
