I Wanted Heavy Duty And I Have It

Here's some pictures of the tip I mentioned another post. I wanted to use 12 gauge but couldn't get it . I had a piece of 6" sch 10 so I used it instead. Also, I ended using 1/4" s/s carrige bolts intead of rivets and really liked the way they worked out. I ground the square collars round, ran then through from the botom and consumed what stuck through with a tig torch.

Not really Max.... The scoop weighed 4 lb 8 oz before the mod and 5 lb 4 oz after. The 12 oz increase in weight was acceptable to me for what I wanted, a round tip, thicker and stronger attachment then pop rivets. I'll use my lighter scoops when needed, but when I hit the rocks, this will be my weapon of choice.
