I don't know why some smart enterprising engineer doesn't develope a small coil for the T2. I think Sunray could make a lot of sales if they did because alot of folks who are on the fence about buying a 1 coil detector would spring for a T2 if there was a a small DD coil available.

resources. I know a lot of us would like to buy a small coil for our T2's but it must not be doable right now given the big picture of what all FT has on their plate. Now maybe, just maybe, the new small coil will be more than just a simple downsized version of the 11" coil. They might well be designing more shielding into the new coil and that would require more lead time and testing.
I want a small coil for my T2 also...And if I don't get before long...I'm going to...I'm gonna....I'm gonna go and buy me a NEW.......
