I used 99 tones today

first time ever, and I actually liked it, man those penny, dime signals etc, really sing out, seems to be a lot higher tones than when you use 2 or 4 tones. Plus the iron tones seems a lot less annoying. (I hunt in all metal.) I think it made it easier to pick out the high tones, I am gonna start using it to see if it helps me out on trying to pick out deep iron from good targets etc...

That's what I use. I don't know what it is but, I swear, 99 tones, AM and the 3KHz makes iron just sound different. You are right I love the sound quarters make using 99 tones.

I'm kinda liking 99 tones too. Going to keep expermenting, but so far I'm likin' it.

for the 28 audio tones that function provides. Using '99' misleads some folks into thinking there are that many audio tones, but there aren't. just '28', but that can sometimes be more than enough! There are times when I like that feature, and other times when I favor 2 or 4 tones.

I hope it works to your advantage.

I haven't tried the "99" tones as yet but I want to. I guess I want to learn the machine before I add more noise to it. :)
