Was hunting in heavy iron and kept getting high tone 99 readings so I notched that out thinking it was iron falsing in that area. Helped quiet it down a little. In cleaner areas I will have it turned back on.

Bill, that is an old trick we used on the XLT yrs ago. It seems to work. My thinking is what are the chances of a real coin coming in at 99 would be anyways.

I will give it a try too, just to know.

Tony just be carefull...Check that last notch, as I will say that it will nock out more than just 99...........

I know on the XLT, 99 is where unknowns were dumps, if the machine can't figure out what it is, wonder if the the Pro works the same, I have both machines and it's hard to go back and for with the VDI #

Sounds like the AT Pro iron wrap around bit bucket.

I would test a morgan silver dollar to make sure that it doesn't come in the same zone, but it sounds like a great idea
