I tried to go out with the CZ-70 for a few hours just now, but at 33 degrees the ground was too frozen to dig with the Lesche :(

leave the SE in the car and take old faithful cz70pro w/ 12" Sunray coil for a stroll....only to find I couldn't even budge the ground with the Lesche:surrender:
 
So much easier to chip up the ice at the end of the sledding hills. And there's no doubt what the machine is telling you, you can see the stuff suspended an inch or two down after clearing the snow off.
