I dug every signal on this pounded out beach. My turkey diet all weekend required some exercise today. :hot: Last week I got 6 rings......today I got zero.... nada nada! I must have used up all my ring luck. All the telltale signs were there, pulltabs, pop-tops and deep signals, but the Infinium just couldn't sink it's teeth into a ring.

I did get some loot and an old Zippo lighter from Niagara Falls, which is a long way from home. A great day to be out too. A strong southeast wind with lots of sunshine and a high of 16C (60.8F). I had to cool off after the seven hour hunt.

Geeessh that's a lot of trash to have to dig up without a prize. But like you said, a great day to be outside. I'm looking for some of that weather to make it's way down here in the next few days. Good bit of determination there regardless.

6 rings last week and none today. I'm sorry for you:cry::rofl: There's always tomorrow.

From the land of the Bluenose.....just had a deep thought. Think of all the worms you have saved from cutting themselves on that pile. Still nice to be getting out and maybe next dig youz will git some bling. Don't see any Bud!

Hi John, Question for you. I have been thinking about a Infinium, however there is so much to choose from I am sorta stuck. I have a New Garrett Sea Hunter II and was courious if you truly feel the Infinium is worth the MONEY ?

GaryL .... :garrett:

I only use the Infinium in hunted out swimming areas, deep water and hunts in the woods where the overall targets are few. I previously had the Sea Hunter II and sold it. After doing a lot of research on the Infinium, I bought one and just love it. The multiple tones really help, especially if you are ONLY looking for gold. You only dig the HIGH-LOW signals. Silver and copper read LOW-HIGH, so I can concentrate on older coins in the woods. Iron tends to show up both ways, but the Infinium has an iron check to help leave a lot of the iron behind.

The Infinium isn't for everybody. You have to put in the time to learn it, and when you do, it is a lot of fun to play with. It isn't an all around machine to use, but in certain environments, it really produces and is a true advantage over other makes and models. Do I think it was worth the $$$? Certainly. Unlike my Sea hunter......my Infinium is a keeper. Many have stated that the Infinium is probably the deepest machine on the market at present. Good luck with your research/purchase of a new machine. Take the time to do your research and you will get a good machine suited to your type of hunting.

Just in case you don't know about the Infinium Forum....I have left you a link:

No that was a pleasant thought Leslie. What a terrible place the world would be without worms. And..... no signs of bud around here :(

Thanks much for your views on the Infinium John and helped me alot, also thanks for the link. HH

No rings? I'm loosing faith in you John. But you sure did pull a pile of other "stuff"..Bare feet will thank you for sure...

Like the more experienced guys say and I agree.
Ya gotta lift a lot o' trash to get the goodies and they are there.
Hey good days and not so good days. We've had our fair share of the not so good, but it spurs us on to get the goodies.
John your a great guy for showing the newbies it's not all glamour 'n' goodies (and I admire you for it) apart from the Garrett gals cheering you on.
Wish we had the Garrett gals over here, although not sure Eileen would be happy about me ogling them.
