I took time for a little cool water hunting. Two words: Re Freshing!

There is nothing like going out in to the nice cool water with the detector when the temps soar in the summer. It is also chigger free! The east coast water hunters have their own lingo to describe water hunting. They might say "Here are some nice tickets from todays spin in the lane." I like the way this famous water hunter abuses the English/French lauguage to discribe Cajun water hunting.

"I done went down to the Bayou for a wade and snagged this here treasure"

That being said, I did manage a few finds. The railroad spike could be from John Henry. He was a steel drivin' man Lord, Lord, :) A great g-kid toy I eyeballed, 3.23 in change. three bracelets,(One is tarnished silver) some crappy rings, assorted necklace thingies, a couple hoops, a silver earring with a couple czs, and that thing that Ed was trying not to scratch with poison ivy. Just a bunch of non-Civil War junk, but I was nice and cool!
