I decided on getting the f75 I hope I made the right choise, it should be here monday or tuesday any tips wouyld be great. And should I get any of the optional coils or stick with the 11in.

If you're used to the MXT, wait till you hear how quickly the 75 recovers from a target. It hits one target and is ready for the next in less than a second. This cuts down on masking tremendously.

Plenty of tips out here for the 75. Also, there's a very good read concerning operation of a 75 in loads of iron. It's in a post someone put up this week.

As far as loops go, I would consider sometime down the road a small DD coil. They've just come out, I understand, and are something special in iron.

Good choice.

I,m very happy with mine, only had it for 3 weeks. hunted areas I done before ,and got coins I had missed with other detectors. The f 75 is different from any thing I,v used before. All metal works well for me if trash is light. I use high SENS as I can , threshold mins 2,three tone . Watch the u tube vid on the f75 also , but by all means take time to learn the machine. Dig a lot of your signals the first week or so to determine what the machine is telling you. It may be a hard school, but it works well. Any help I can be ,just ask .

I think you will be more then pleased with the decision that you made. I would suggest hunting with it for a couple of outings in the factory preset modes just to get a feel for what it is telling you, right off. Good luck and if you have any question feel free to ask. HH jim tn
