I took the Cortes for a walk in the park this morning

Put the CleanSweep on it and took it for a walk in one of my modern parks. Did ok with $5.24. Deepest coin was a dime down about 5" with about a 1-1/2" to 2" air gap with a 9 sens setting. Not bad for the CleanSweep coil.

Normally for this type of clad hunt I would use the Golden/Cleansweep, but since I hadn't put much time on the Cortes yet I figured it would be good to bite the bullet and spend a couple three hours with it clad hunting and it did as well as the Golden would have done at this park. I'll take it back out there and do some foil hunting with the stock coil on another day. That was what I got it for in the first place was for hunting the low conductors like foil.

Thats 5.24 toward the purchase of the anti-glare faceplate :super:
