I took the 6x10 out in my test coins.

Was at sensi. +1, disc 2, coin/jewelry. In my ground it hits a little better than the 5.3 on the 7 1/2" dime, 8" quarter, and 7" penny. ID was bouncing all over on those coins. If I get no lock on a target and it's smooth sounding I will be digging. I don't mind that there is no lock on deep targets. So I am happy with the depth the of the MXT and haven't even tried the 9.5 yet.

I was a little worried before I got it but now I'm not.

Anything will i.d. better than the 5.3. That coil sucks.

A lot of the I.D. depend on the soil mineralization. Even the best of coils have difficulty in the midst of high mineralization. Being a smaller coil, it won't get as deep as others.

I've never had any wrong I.D.'s with my 5.3 coil. It's a sweet little coil that I wouldn't part with. HH, Nancy

I agree, Nancy... That coil rocks for finding those rings in heavy trash areas.
