chickens are now allowed in Vancouver. I think only 2 or three allowed, probably just another fad... good luck and bon petite

Do you have many coyotes or foxes around there that might try to steal your next winter's dinners? Did you finish the chicken house that you were working on? You are going to have some fun next winter deciding which pet gets eaten first. Kelley (Texas) :)

Nothing as cute as baby peeps!:)

Whatever you do don't name any of them though!!:|

Been there,

to do some tricks...maybe snap your finger, say "bang" and the chicken flops over and plays dead? I once saw a chicken at the county fair that could count up to ten marbles placed in a small circle. My point being, if you could train one of them to do tricks, you could become famous, be on a late night TV show, or even sell it for lots of dollars. Kelley (Texas) :)

Them and the turkeys... WE have two calves outside now [well does 500 lbs each count as a calf?]. So we will be set for the next while.

Gardens are going in and weather is improving.

All in all, I'm easy.

fair winds

not in my opinion:biggrin:
No Coyotes, just Raccoons and Mink but the hens are locked up overnight. Last time we had hens several years back a Raccoon got into the old dilapidated chicken house, killed a dozen in one night and only ate one:rant:
The chicks are only meat birds and will be be too busy eating to learn tricks:biggrin: Those meat birds seem genetically engineered to do nothing but eat, i have seen them so big ( 12 lbs) that their legs were twisted under them and they could not move, just eat.
These will be partially free range, grasshopper control

That Pam Anderson is a sure three yarder!!

a plastic idiot. Maybe a cut below Angelina Jolie. Sure hard to find a star with morals or brains these days, not enough money in it i guess:sadwalk:
