the Yeti lives.:bouncy:

Because of his work schedule...my dad's health...my new job at a different gym...etc...Phil (the artist formerly known as the YETI) and I haven't gotten to hunt together in a long time.

We finally got the sun...moon...stars...planets...etc...to line up correctly and squeezed in a hunt.

He got permission and lined us up a house to hunt in the country.

It was just a good time and brought back a lot of memories of when he and I were able to hunt together a few days each week.

Within 5 minutes we were both hot...within 15 minutes we were both thirsty...and within 30 minutes we were both hungry.:clapping:

He did well finding a few wheaties and a nice barber dime...but hasn't sent me the pics to post from his phone/camera at this point. Because of my work schedule...I need to get this post up...so all I have are the pics I took with my droid phone.

Herky even made friends with the home owner's dogs...so all was good.

I didn't find much but I was able to squeeze out this SWEET and HEAVY old sterling silver class ring.

Just like old times...the look and excitement on the Yeti's face was one that would have made you think I dug a $1000 gold coin. He was fired up to say the least.

Like I've said a zillion times before...it's not about the finds for me. With a good friend like Phil and my faithful hunting buddy Hercules...my pouch will always be full.

That's a nice honker of a ring !

Friends and a good companion make for a successful hunt whether you find anything or not. Congrats to your friend on the Barber and congrats to Herk on making new friends. WTG on the clas ring as well.

Nice work Bryce. not only ont he ring but the siting of the abominal smowman you run into from time to time!.....A hair sample/video might be worth some seriuos cash!

That is a sweet looking, BIG class ring you found Bryce. Congratulations to ya.
It's fun to get to hunt with buddies that you don't get to be around much because
of "life". Looking forward to the pics of Yeti's Barber dime and wheats. Stay in the
shade!! Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

That is one big chunk of silver buddy! Nice find. Next time maybe I can hunt with you guys.

Nice ring bud. Glad you guys got to do some diggin'.

I love those old class rings! It's been awhile since I got one. And with the price of silver these days silver jewelry is nothing to sneeze at. And it's from my favorite decade the 70's!

Yep, Yeti lives!!!!! Very nice ring Bryce.:clapping: Gonna try and find out may have lost it? I haven't been out lately, but we are going east tomorrow and hope to do some detecting if the ground isn't like cement and it probably will be. GL & HH.

Strange thing is that the ring isn't even from anywhere remotely close to the town I found it in??

I will try to find out who it belongs to though.

Good luck when you get to hunt again.
