I thought my XS was broke................. :)

I was thinking my XS was broken because it has been a while since I have found anything worth posting, but it just goes to show that if you are in the right place at the right time my old XS can still sniff out the old stuff. Went back to an old city park my buddy and hunted a couple of years ago and I went at a snails pace which worked out pretty well. Finds were a 1914 barber quarter, 1943 quarter, 1919, 1928, 1944 mercs, 1950 rosie, 1902 injun, and 1919, 1946, 1947 and 1953 wheaties. I was only there for about three hours, but something tells me that this place is not completely hunted out yet............:) Thanks for looking and HH.

Now that is what I am talking about!!! Them are the kinds of finds I was hoping that you would make sooner or later. Fantastic Job Eddie! Now all you need to do is find that Seated Coin. And if there is Bigger Silver still at this Park, well then, I am almost positive that there may be a Seated waiting for you to swing your Coil over. I will keep my fingers crossed Buddy in hopes of seeing you post a Pic of a Seated Coin before the season is closed down for us. Make sure you start working a Pattern and start working one side of the Park while making every Coil Swing Overlapped. This way, you will have a better idea of what area's you have already detected. Heck! There may be even a Half Dollar if there is Quarters yet! Continued Success, Good Luck and HH Good Buddy!:detecting:

Thanks James. I will take everything that you said into consideration, but it will probably be next spring before I can hit that park again since it is about 300 miles from where I live. There are a couple of other old parks I want to check out also and just maybe that elusive seated coin will let me let it see the light of day again......:) HH.
