I Thought I'd Give The G2 A Little Swing Time Today :teknetics:

I got to the hunting site shortly after daybreak and started off with another detector but I finally decided to pull out the G2 with the 11 inch DD coil and see how it would work in the iron. It has been awhile since I've use the G2 and forgot just how well it works. I set the discrimination at '35' and dug all targets that had some depth to them that bounced above 50 no matter how slight. I just love the modulated audio. That's one of the best things about the G2. That and it's recovery speed. For those of you who think the G2 doesn't get good depth, need to get some better headphones and listen better. I dug that tiny brass rivet at 9 inches.

I found a 3 Merry Widows container, some shells, lead bullets, a 1917 wheat penny, a 1941 wheat penny and sterling silver locket.

The G2 is at home in a bed of nails and iron.

Nice looking sterling locket, Gerald. The spot owed you that one, you paid your dues there today. Might have some age to it, nice find. HH jim tn

If you think the 11" coil does well in iron, try the 5" coil for a real eye opener.
