I hit a spot at a park and found 5 Sac $1 coins in a 8'x8' area. Those dollar coins really bring up the $$ total. Our :canadaflag: friends have a good thing going up there. I went to a few other locations. I found a rabies tag and a 1946 wheat too. I found 59 coins for $10.34. I've already found $37.64 this year. It will be time to start shopping for silver or gold again soon.

You're getting pretty lucky there my prune picking bud. I think I'll come down and visit you when your Bro shows up. Nice pile of goodies. Best I've done is three SACs in one pile. Few more days like that and you'll be rolling in the bucks. :)

Isn't that just super! And it sure brinks up your totals quickly! hopefully as time goes on, more and more people will use those coins :)

My best for Sacs is two in one year! That was a lucky find!
No doubt about it, you SAC'ed them.
Once I found 2 so close to each other I figured I would find more. A friend of mine who is Mexican -American told me they toss them into the lawn sometimes for the kids to pick up when they have a Quinceanera celebration. The Quinceanera is a celebration of the young girl (la Quinceanera), and a recognition of her journey from childhood to maturity at the age of 15. The celebration highlights God, family, friends, music, food, and dance

I gave up on those. I'm waiting for them to use the new ones but they'll probably hoard them also. I'll never understand the penchant to hoard a coin that had a mintage of over a billion. Do these people actually think it will become rare and valuable? Brain dead is forever.
