Until I began packing :rage: All the things I wanted to bring won't even come close to fitting into a large sized suitcase. Plus, who knows if Southwest is gonna tell me it's too heavy or something?.
I wanted to bring the lap top, but I may leave that behind to carry on a detector/digital camera. I need the 2-box (which looks like a red bomb case) :yikes: One probe don't fit...The soil core probe barely fits & streaches out the suitcase. You need to have 2 detectors in case one dies/ 2 headphones, boots, lots of clothes, raingear etc. Man, I can't even fit in any biscuit mix for Tony ;)
Plus, I have to hope someone brings me a mid-sized handeled shovel (DonkeySoldier?).
This is gonna be VERY interesting for sure. I'm trying some very "creative" packing.......:)
I thought taking 7 hrs. off a long boring drive down 95 south would be great.....now I'm not so sure.
I'm thinking definate "road trip" for Diggin' in VA. 7 :)
Oh well, it's all good..
"We will dig Welics!"

consider UPS shipping the gear(well insured) to your hotel(call ahead) and have them hold it in secure lockup. We do it all the time for trade shows, easier than trying to explain to every member of TSA and the airlines what a spectrum analyzer is and what all those wires are all about etc. etc. Then go fly Cattle Air  outta Teddy Green!
