I thought about going out today. Then I didn't changed my mind:rofl:

Unlike Rosco I DID go out. We got a little break in the rain. T shirt weather. I got into a playground that is usually locked so I picked up about $3.00. The other playground in this school has open access and gets hit every Friday night or Saturday morning by the same guy. It used to be mine but someone has been beating me to it. I tossed about 50 of my tore up clad pennies around to let him know I'm onto him. I went to an area where an old windmill was but just found some new money by the road. I did find an Idaho State quarter. I have a book for them and I need about 8 more states to fill it. Some aren't out yet. Todays take was 40 coins for $3.51.

Nice collection there bro. "Salting" the place might let him know you aren't fond of him swinging in your territory but is it really going to help? It might take an "personal encounter" of sorts to let this guy know that you don't appreciate him taking your money....

Nice pilwe. I didn't go out. Pouring down here with temps right as freezing. I hear you guys are going to get some more storms.

Now that was funny! What a great idea! :clapping: <img src="http://www.canadianmetaldetecting.com/images/smiles/cs112.gif">

I've had several choice spots stolen right out from underneath of me. One was a little school/playground tucked away in the suburbs that never failed to yield $5-$7 a trip. Now if I can find a quarter there I consider myself lucky. Just to many people with beepers. I think every other person has one. Guess I should have kept my big mouth shut.

Bill
.......and it's a good thing I did go out yesterday. It started raining yesterday evening and it hasn't stopped. Here is a shot of the front of my driveway. I know it looks bad but I can't get flooded. It crests the road and runs off before it gets onto my property. It's all downhill after that.

I could do the same here. Most of the tot lots are picked over pretty regular as are the parks. I have nice collection of junk pennies. Never know where they could end up.....

Hey you're lucky or that lake would be in your house. Had a buddy of mine in Corona, California years ago that had his house completely flooded by runoff from the street and the water was two feet deep inside his house. The insurance refused to pay as they classified it as an act of God.

If that happened to me - I'd probably tether my 2 dogs there and be sure they get plenty chili-dogs all day long.
:crylol:
That's some nice coin there - shouldn't there be a few hundred tabs and bottle tops in the mix?
I'm trying to drive off the competition, not myself:detecting:

Besides, he's saving all that stuff for me when I come down there next month. You don't think he would want me to beat him out again like I did last year do you???
