I think when Spring hits and everyone who can't get out gets out, and everyone who is waiting till then to purchase their new AT Pro, and the ones tha

It's certainly an interesting detector Bill. I haven't bought one yet (may not) and won't till I've sold other detectors. I was surprised on the video, how that even in it's standard mode, it mimics what I like about my 1500 with the 5x10 coil on (hearing the width of the target).
I'll enjoy reading the posts on it all the same. (They haven't landed in Oz yet anyway.)
Mick Evans.

I think that I will eventually buy one, but not this year. Unless we win the lottery.

I am not planning on adding to the detector pile. I like Garrett I have owned quite a few in the 36 years I have hunted. It just seems to me each time a new detector comes out (doesn't matter what brand) it's earth shattering. I see post that people are finding pirate treasures lost for 300 years in hunted out parks?Gold coins re just jumping out of the ground in area's hunted out. Com on people be real?
I also read guys fighting about there detector is better than yours. Its the same as buying a boat or car its a choice. I am still think its not just the detector that's good its the guy swinging it that matters.People are very true the items they owe.Unless I get my Hand's on one I won't make a judgment on it. steve

Yeah lots of folks are still undecided and the jury is still out but I think it will eventually take off.

I hope Garrett is building up a little inventory cause It's likely to get busy for them in another 6 or7 weeks.

I tend to agree with Buried Crap NJ, it is more operator, and location, and maybe a bit of luck thrown in, than one detector over another. OK before I get corrected, I'm not counting certain $50 detectors, or specialty detectors. That being said this detector does have a couple of very valuable features, and there is no doubt in my mind it will be hugely popular.

The waterproof feature alone make it a good value in my book. If you ever hunt in or near water (in case of dropping it) Going on a trip, don't know exactly what you'll run into, this could be the "one" machine to take.

I got one, and although it hasn't seen any dirt yet, it will, as stated above in about 58 days (or less)

I didn't do to well with my Jetco "Treasure Hawk" in the 70's. OR my Relco Pacesetter!
