I can already hear it "You'll shoot your eye out!" Of course I'm not going to give them a hand full of ammo and send them out to play. When they are old enough I will teach them firearm safety and they will not touch it with out Grampa having a hold on it.

It is a Chipmunk, hand made by the Rouge River Rifle Company in Lewiston Idaho. 22 rimfire and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. I put one of my rifles next to it for a comparison of size.

I was at the gun shop in town re-newing my gunclub membership. They had it on the counter and it was too cute to pass up. It shoots as good as it looks.

is 1 thing I do when I am teaching someone to shoot that has Never shot before--It is A Pain in the butt (But)I only allow (1) shell in a gun at a time--Then I know myself that it can only fire Once----It started when I was about 20 and I was showing the neighbor girl (Old Woman now)how to shoot----She shot ONCE and then turned around in a shooting position and the gun was pointed at my chest COCKED------Thats when I Started Only ONE Shell in the Chamber---A 22 barrel looked Dam big looking down the Barrel !
