Hi there,
Dirtfishin a turn of the century house in Erie Pa i found a round ball with a clasp that looks like it would hang on a necklass or charm bracelet. it is about the diameter of a dime and has a steel ball
inside to make it jingle like alittle bell. I think the little ball is steel because i can make it move inside the ball with a magnet.I've found a feww silver coins' but this ball is whiter than anything i've ever seen.
Inside the little clasp it has some numbers the letters TS and more numbers, with MEXICO underneath. any idea

Yes that would be Taxco, mexican silver.
Here is a link that tells about your post 1978 markings. {#4}
A 925 # is sterling 950 or 980 is high silver content.
