I think I have found my first fuse.

Check the surrounding area slowly and carefully. Good chance you'll find more of the pieces and maybe the plunger. Be sure to use the All Metal mode as there may be iron shrapnel and small brass pieces. They could be deep. Good hunting, David@Dixie
