Set white balance using the snow as a reference. Set 2500 in "P" mode, with wb as reference.
At least it didn't end up with blue colored snow.

Ha... The pictures you took look pretty good. You can upsize them quite a bit more than you're doing if you use Photoshop and jpeg low to export to web. Post some of the macro's you sent me. You really are reading up on that camera. I learned today that the depth of focus is much better on a digital. I sent you a link on that I believe... Guvner..
