Instead of just joking around with everyone here. These were dug at an old homestead over the course of the last couple of weeks that dates back to the 1700's There's always a variety of things to dig up at places like this. I'm always amazed at how many small lantern pieces I find! The suspender buckle is stamped pat'd 1856 The Indian head is no big deal, but I never find them in that nice a condition. The soil up here is not kind to copper coins. This was up near the foundation, must be why. I' m not sure what the thin twisted piece is, I just got a pencil torch so I'll try straightening it out. And tips on doing so Vern? I know you've straightened a thing or two.
