The weather was beautiful today about 71 degrees. I put the water detector and the MXT into the back seat and headed to the Regions bank at the beach to deposit some checks. Actually my bank is just up the street but well you understand... Did the deposit and then off to a local park to relieve the sand lots of their droppings. Sometimes I feel like a mafia hit man detectorist. I make the rounds and demand the sand lots to cough up the goodies. I found about $4.00 in clad, a nice quarter hit aka match box formula car and some junk jewelry. Found a very nice Swiss army knife that had about 8 attachments on it and in excellent condition. A short hunt then off to the beach to practice my surf skills when another "urgent" computer call comes in. It was difficult to head inland to rescue another "sick" computer tower having been infected by it's careless owner once again. Freed this puter about a year ago of it's virus demons and now I have to perform another exorcism. Tomorrow rain so today was the day for hunting! I do love this detector and am digging most foil readings to increase my finds. HH Marty

Marty, I had to gasp at your first sentence! 71 degrees? Gee, we have a whopping -5 right now. Yes, that's negative five degrees. Even though you had to work with the demons, you had a chance to get out and hunt. Thanks for posting and HH, Nancy

Yeah,
good for you ,, 71 degrees?
Shouldnt there be a rule , that in the winter , if you dont have snow, you cant post about the weather? LOL

Or if its above 28 degrees, you cant post about the temp? LOL

All kidding aside, Its cool that you got out, and found a few things.

We had some warm weather and even some rain a week ago, that melted all the snow, and started to thaw the top inch of ground.
Then , a cold wind froze all the standing water, then it snowed another 6 inches, then it bew hard again.
Dang that Mother Nature, playing tricks on me.

But its posts like yours, that keep the fire alive in the winter, for me.
Thanks
Good Luck to ya ,
Dusty
