......On my last post about the midwest storm that was breathin down our necks;I said that this is the same kind of Storm that sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald ore freighter on11/10/1975-Weather Channel experts said this one IS MUCH WORSE than the one that hit in 1975.We could see 74+mph wind gusts-Cat.1 hurricane strength......PLUS on the BACK-SIDE of this storm;lots of SNOW out in the Dakotas, with 50+mph wind............"BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES,ME HEARTIES;WE'RE IN FOR A BLOW".............................Weve already got Armada schools lettin out at noon-I gotta tell ya's,I HAVE NEVER before in all my life livin in Michigan seen a school close because of an approaching autumn severe storm......................:look:Tornado watches have been posted too,for almost all the southern part of Michigan. Right now at my house, its gettin windy-When these storms hit;Im goin off-line to prevent my computer from :puke:;I will be back after.PLEASE,LORD-Protect us ALL from these storms!!!AMEN!!!

Hi Steve, There were tornado warnings for St. Louis and surrounding areas including Illinois, but we are okay here where I live! Heard that some in MO, IL and etc. are without power (about 80,000 homes)! Sure is windy today....really strong gusts blowing leaves all over my lawn and I don't have one leafy tree except a Dogwood and a Spruce, there are Pines in the Common Ground so lots of brown needles, but I can put up with the leaves and Praise God for no Tornadoes my way! Got lots of rain along with thunder and lightning Sunday night, and we needed the rain! I hope all is well your way....heard different states (Dallas, TX being one) did get hit by tornadoes with heavy winds and rain! God is our Protector....Thank You, God, in Jesus' precious name for Your blessings upon me and others! Amen! Ma Betty

sure was and still is a windy one! Almost went to the basement this morning!
