how to use the Minelab EX2 on Saturday in the back of my brother's yard. He seemed to be interested in it. It's a heavy machine but he looked like he took to it like learning to swim. When I told him to swing the coil from side to side he looked like he was stiff as a board, so I told him to just relax and let the machine do the work. At first I had him hold the shovel to dig, and showed him how to dig around the object and after retrieving it to place the plug back. We found some new pennies and a dime, plus some other metals. It gives you a good feeling to show someone younger how to work the machine. We had a lot of fun. So how's everybodys weekend in the search and dig department? Fine I hope.

Russ - another detectorist is made ! I took my 7 year old grandson out and he liked it. Too bad he lives far away.
As for weekend stuff = I went out of town to a wedding all weekend. My younger sister got married. But I have an all day hunt tomorrow so hope to have something to report, Steve

That's really nice of you to show your nephew how to metal detect & let him use your detector! He'll probably be asking his dad to buy him one for his b'day or Christmas..... <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
God Bless!
