I should have posted this last night, but as you can see I didn't. I received a telephone call yesterday afternoon

from James in Alabama. I had talked to him Saturday morning and he had not gone detecting, but was going to wait until after the Auburn - LSU game was over. I didn't hear anything from him Saturday night or yesterday morning, until he called yesterday afternoon. When I realized it was him I asked him what he had found and he said "I had a heart attack." Of course, I thought he was talking about the game. He actually had a heart attack during the game and drove himself to the hospital which is about 15 - 20 miles away!! He spent Saturday night at the hospital in Pell City and was transferred to Medical Center East in Birmingham via ambulance yesterday morning. The blood tests showed he had had a mild heart attack. He is due to have some tests run today including the scope they use to look at any damage done to the heart. When I visited him yesterday afternoon he seemed to be feeling ok, but his back was very sore, and he had about 10 or 12 wires connected all over his chest and stomach. I took him some Western & Eastern Treasures and Lost Treasure magazines to keep him occupied while he is in the CICU. (Ed, I put the one with the picture you took on top of the stack!!!). I don't think you are supposed to be able to visit unless you are family, but nobody asked me if I was family so I just went on in! If they asked I was going to tell them "He's my bro!" I don't know exactly what time the tests are going to take place but it is sometime this morning. I think this has scared him! He said it felt like an elephant was standing on his chest and it was hard to breathe. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers especially today during the tests. We are hoping and praying he won't have to have open heart surgery. I will give an update as soon as I hear anything.
