I set a new record at the Girl's Soft Ball Complex this morning...:wiggle:

That's right.

44 Bobbie pins.............

I can safely say that beats my old record hands down. Big Deal, Huh.

But this is the second time I've found jewelry at a ball park.

The first time was kind of a fluke. That was when I found my first gold
ring.

This time I went in there intending to find to find jewelry. And I did.:)

What spurred me on about the ball field was that post yesterday when
I said that I never found anything under bleachers.

Well I can not get under those little bitty bleachers. I stuck my coil
under the bleachers and it was just a solid mass of signals all over.
I got one nice sounding one, and was just crouched down looking at
the trash and thinking about raking the trash up and trying again.

That's when I saw it, a small heart shaped 14k gold ear ring. It was just
sitting there!!!

I looked for a while longer and did not find anything els but trash.

So I decided to give up on the tiny bleachers and look around the girls
dugouts.

I found two more ear rings, a silver charm, a silver looking ring, a silver
puzzle ring, a blue butterfly with silver looking frame.

Now I want you to look at this close.

I found a tiny piece of jewelry. It's 10k gold. It's that little round thing by the
heart shaped ear ring.

Compadre impressed me again...:O... Can you believe that?????

HH,

nice diggin. what do you guys do with the berrets and bobby pins found? i just throw them away. should i keep them>

I just take a photo of them and throw them away.

A lot of times I will take a photo of my trash.

But this morning I had to empty trash two times.

I just put it in my pocket when I'm hunting for jewelry.

The ball park had way more trash than a tot lot though.

I am learning to hunt jewelry in other places besides tot lots.

I learned the basics in the tot lots.

I am trying to expand my horizons.

HH,

hey Tabdog, I have a lake here in Mi that I hit and I am sure you can break your record if you can take your machine underwater!! Why don't you come and clean the bobby pins out for me so I can get the good stuff?

Nice bunch of loot there. Glad you had fun!!

Hay,

you know that a bobby pin will mask
a find that's under it.

I don't pass them up when I am hunting
for jewelry.

It's like aluminum. I just can not bring
my self to pass it up.

It's the deep trash that get's me.

Sometimes I just hunt a few inches deep.

I can recover many more targets in the
same amount of time that way.

HH,

i usually dig all targets unless im being lazy that day. i am afraid of notch thinking it may be something other than trash,...i am an all metal user.

That's what I have become.

In the past all metal scared the bejommas off me.

Now, it's the way to go.

Go slow. Find a good one and go for it.

If the chances are good, I dig it all.

HH,
