I rescued a king in the park today. :yo:

Last year I found a 1778 1 reale in the park and this morning I found this one. About 9 or 10", the tone wasn't there and neither were the values but there was no nulling so I dug. Sure am glad I did.

Tom, The digital values were close to a half dollar / quarter, between 00 27 and 00 29 and gave a nice high silver tone, once I had on the surface. At depth the tones were closer to mid range than high and the values were all over the place. It was the way the signal behaved that made me dig, just like that of a really deep coin but without the high silver tones. It was almost comparable to iron falsing but there wasn't any nulling and it kept hitting from all directions.
