So if there was something constructive please post it back up there for others to get help from. No reports on your personal findings of product worth, hype, etc. once again in your opinion. I don't want the results of this or that based on your scientific tests. If you have done something that benefits the users you will know it. You probably don't need to ask too often why the Explorer is better than whatever as that just brings out the donkey kongs. I had one guy over here mention the new Tesoro looked like a toy and he was inundated with hate mail for his opinion. Why the Tesoro guys are over here is a great source of puzzlement to me anyway...
Anyway... Help each other out. Life is way too short anyway... Guvner..
 
Guvner certainly apologize for my reports of finds
using a new unit in their prestart mode. Having heard of the complexity of this unit was really surprised with my finds without even going into any advanced settings. Will indeed try to make my
posts more constructive.
 
If you're new and talk constructively here about it that only makes newbies more excited. Be sure and put them on the main forum too if you must put them here. I just didn't want this to become a battering ram board for someone to be calling every little thing out there in the name of a crusade against hype. A lot of what I read made me think it was a crusade of sorts. Some others wanted to compare one brand with another here. Not for this forum. Use the main Explorer forum for that.
As a point at to what this machine can do. Sometimes when someone loses something and has another just like it there's nothing quite like running the other one under the coil and then you almost know exactly what the lost item will look like on the smart screen. If I had a very nice ring I would surely run it under there and then take my digital and store an image of the place it fell in case I ever lost it.
